What Is a Financial Seal?
The Financial Seal is an electronic certificate infrastructure developed by TÜBİTAK-UEKAE within the framework of the Tax Procedure Law. It ensures data integrity, authenticity, confidentiality when needed, and verifies the source of digital transactions belonging to companies.
Validity Period
The financial seal is valid for 3 years. The renewal process begins 3 months before expiration to avoid disruptions in e-Invoice, e-Ledger, and e-Archive processes.
How to Renew
The renewal application is submitted through the KamuSM website. After completing the form, the fee must be paid. If the seal is not renewed on time, the taxpayer must notify the Revenue Administration with a petition.
Fees
- Legal entity: 1.620 TL
- Real person: 1.200 TL
Foreign-Owned Companies
Additional notarized documents are required, including signature circulars and the trade registry gazette. A Turkish citizen must be declared as the certificate responsible.
